My name is Jackson McKagan. I am a record producer, musician, audio engineer, and music studio owner. I specialize in tracking, mixing, and mastering live recordings for bands and musicians at my music studio in Seattle, Washington.
So often I see talented and inspired bands playing exceptional music and DIY concerts and local venues that fail to flourish because the task of recording their band is too daunting, or studio time and mixing fees are prohibitively high.
It is my mission then to make music recording and production services accessible to PNW bands so that they may become prolific in their music careers and achieve regional or national acclaim.

Recording
Expert quality recordings tracked through a hybrid digital/analog recording studio. I will consult with you to discuss the needs of your band and how I can push your music to a higher level.
Studio Rental
If you are a client of mine, you may be invited to the studio to develop your song ideas and record demos so that come tracking day, your unique sound and aesthetic vision are fully achieved.
Mixing
Whether the tracks are recorded at my studio or elsewhere, my hybrid analog/digital mixing setup is designed for maximum sonic flexibility while maintaining the classic analog warmth.
